USC won an absolute thriller in the Rose Bowl Monday night, defeating Penn State 52-49 after hitting a game winning field goal as time expired. The game was also a joy to follow on twitter as it produced a plethora of takes. While it was impossible to keep track of all of them, a few are listed below, with some commentary to go along.
1st Quarter- USC jumps out to an early lead
The Nittany Lions started off sluggish as QB Trace McSorley threw two quick interceptions allowing USC to jump out to a 13-0 lead. During that time, twitter pounced on Penn State and the Big 10.
