After blanking Ohio State 31-0 in Saturday night’s Fiesta Bowl semifinal, the Clemson Tigers are on their way to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. However, when Clemson lost to Pitt 43-42 on November 12, despite still having a clear path to the College Football Playoff, some people thought their dreams were effectively over…

After the Pitt loss, the Tigers won their final two regular season games and the ACC Championship Game over Virginia Tech.  The rest, at least up until today, is history. Clemson will face Alabama in the National Championship Game in Tampa on January 9.
