It wasn’t easy, but Tennessee picked up a win in their season opener Monday night against Georgia Tech at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The Vols were sluggish on offense during the first half and struggled to stop the Yellow Jackets all game. Down 28-14 in the fourth quarter, Tennessee seemed all but dead in the water. But a Vols offensive surge along with a Georgia Tech turnover and two missed field goals allowed the Vols to force overtime where they eventually won the game 42-41.
