There has been substantial hype surrounding the South Florida Bulls coming into the 2017 season.  With an easy schedule and electrifying quarterback Quinton Flowers returning, new head coach Charlie Strong and the Bulls have been picked by some to go 12-0 during the regular season.  But when the Bulls went down 16-0 in the first quarter Saturday night on the road to three touchdown underdog San Jose State, twitter immediately began to seal USF’s fate.  The twitterverse was particularly hard on Strong, who came to Tampa from disappointing tenure at Texas.  Fortunately, the Bulls got their acts together, scored 42 unanswered points, and cruised to a 42-22 victory.
