Before the Patriots erased a 28-3 deficit to beat the Falcons 34-28 in overtime of Super Bowl 51 Sunday night, much of Twitter was reveling in joy that it appeared the Patriots were going to lose. One of the topics of ridicule: the “Deflategate” scandal, which resulted in Tom Brady missing the first four games of the season due to suspension.
